2025 Monroe Road - Widening and Rehabilitation

Construction will be staged to allow for access to the Midland City Forest Park throughout the project.

A detrour route will be posted as Monroe Road will be closed to thru-traffic for the entire length of the project.

Key improvements provided by this project include:

• Upgrading the roadway to All-Season status
• Enlarging traffic lanes to be 11' wide
• Widening and paving shoulders to provide for non-motorized traffic
• Asphalt pavement overlay
• Adding curb and gutter at the Sturgeon Road intersection
